According to initial data from Adobe Analytics, U.S. & U.K. shoppers spent a staggering $6.4 billion and £581 million online, respectively, in just the first 24 hours of the two-day event. Whilst we'll have to wait for the official global sales figures to find out if this was a record-breaking Prime Day or not, one thing's for certain. This year's Amazon deals were set to tempt inflation-fatigued shoppers, with Reuters reporting deeper discounts than we’ve seen in previous years.
